While we are in the process of washing helmets, bathing babies, and getting them into their pajamas (a chaotic time here at our house), we usually let the babies crawl up and down the hallway. We close all the doors so there's NOTHING they can get into if they are unsupervised for a little bit. Nothing, that is, EXCEPT the carbon monoxide detector. It's the ONE thing they really shouldn't play with, but guess what? They have been pulling it out of the wall and pushing the buttons. A couple nights ago, we watched them and thought they would get their fill of playing with it as soon as they pushed one of the buttons that would make it go off. Wrong! They didn't even flinch and continued pushing the buttons.
We hope you had a happy Thanksgiving! We mashed up some turkey and green bean casserole for the babies. They also had squash and mashed potatoes too of course! So fun! I'm hoping that in a few weeks a Christmas cookie can be their first cookie! We'll see.

  1. Our carbon monoxide detector goes off as soon as it's unplugged. It's easily accessible on the main level where they play all day but they have yet to pull it out!
